Playing

I've decided to separate the playing portion of the web page into Etiquette, Strategy, and Practicing.  Etiquette is important for younger golfers so that we may become more accepted by older golfers.  Junior golfers make older golfers very nervous.   Golf is a fairly quiet, "gentleman's game".  The rules of etiquette are quite strict, but necessary to insure the integrity of the game.  If you abuse the course or interfere with other golfers, you will not enjoy your round.  The adults and the golf course personal will see to that.  By following the rules of etiquette, you can ensure yourself a welcome place in the game of golf.

Strategy will discuss the principles you will use on the course.  When to hit over the water, when to lay up, etc.  Strategy is the true nature of the game.

Adults practice horribly. I'm going to show you how to practice to help you improve and enjoy golf even more.  I'm reminded of my favorite motivation phrase, "Practice doesn't make perfect.  Perfect practice leads to perfection." I use this principle to motivate me to be the best I can in every aspect of my life.  I hope it will have the same meaning to you.
