No two swings are alike. Your swing will be unique. The are however certain fundamentals that almost all better golfers have in common. The purpose of this section is to present you with the six full swing fundamental in a simple easy to understand format. Perhaps the most important thing for junior golfer to remember is that in the golf swing we do not try to scoop the ball into the air, we actually try to drive the ball into the ground. The only real exceptions are drives off of a tee and putts. The majority of your shots will create a divot (hole in the ground) if done properly. The only reason I mention this is that as you get older, people will try to talk you out of this. Unfortunately, they are wrong. If anyone tells you not to hit the ball into the ground, send them the address to this page, I'll explain it to them.
